Python Projects is built for teens who already know the basics and are ready to build something bigger than a single-file exercise — a real, complete program they can point to and say "I built this."
Rather than a fixed curriculum, each student works with their mentor to scope a project suited to their interests and current skill level: a simple game, a useful tool, a small automation script, or something entirely their own idea.
Along the way, mentors introduce the skills that separate "knows the basics" from "can actually build things" — working with multiple files, organizing larger programs, handling errors gracefully, and debugging real problems as they come up.
By the end, your teen will have one or more complete, working projects for a personal portfolio — genuinely useful for college applications, or simply as proof of what they can build.
This course assumes basic prior Python experience (variables, loops, functions) — a great next step after Python for Beginners, or for a teen who's already learned the basics elsewhere.
