Build Your First Website

Web development classes for kids ages 10-15. Learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript by building and launching a real website of their own.

Ages 10–16 beginner one on one
There's a particular kind of pride in showing someone a website you built yourself — a real, working page live on the internet, not a school project that disappears at the end of term. That's the outcome this course is built around.

Kids learn the three core building blocks of the web — HTML for structure, CSS for design, and JavaScript for interactivity — in exactly that order, so each new skill has an immediate, visible payoff on the page they're building.

Mentors help each child choose a project that genuinely interests them: a personal "about me" page, a hobby showcase, a portfolio of drawings or writing, whatever makes the work feel like theirs rather than an assignment.

By the end of the course, your child will have a real, working personal website, along with a practical understanding of how the websites they use every day are actually built.

Basic computer comfort helps, but no prior coding experience is required — this is a strong first step into "real" web-based coding, and a natural next course after Scratch or an introductory language.
